Our children, like all children, live in a complex society that bombards them with mixed messages about a wide range of behaviors. They face the same developmental challenges that are part of a adolescence everywhere. We are fortunate to have a community in which parents can work together to be proactive, preventative and supportive rather than waiting for problems to occur or become serious in our community.
